The Surge, Frontier Energy Network’s Monthly Newsletter
Welcome to March’s edition of The Surge, – designed to keep you connected with all that’s happening within the Frontier Energy Network.
Celebrating Success
In its 36th year, the Offshore Achievement Awards have reached something of a cult status when it comes to recognising the outstanding work undertaken by companies and individuals across the North Sea offshore energy industry and beyond.
With so many of our members active in the region, we were delighted to sponsor the highly coveted “Significant Contribution” award, which is presented each year to an individual who has made an incredible professional contribution to the offshore energy industry, above and beyond their day-to-day role.
Every day, we work with individuals and organisations who are committed to the development of the global energy industry and we recognise the innovation and dedication that’s required to make a real difference. Colin Black, winner of this year’s award exemplifies the very best of both those qualities and it was an honour to present him with his award.
The OAAs also gave us a great opportunity to host and catch up with some of our Members in the region, namely Roger Esson of The Net Zero Technology Centre, Ian Mills of Exceed Energy, Eric Hathon of Capricorn Energy, Blaise Lukye of Reservoir Group and Alisdair Cook of Optimal.
